Jen Johnson Shares Her Impressions On The House Guests!

s11In true Jen fashion, she let’s us know her inital thoughts on this seasons house guests. I’ll give you a teaser, but you’ll have to read the rest after the cut!

CASEY: Casey seems very nice — talkative without being annoying, charming without being creepy, and interesting without being too much. He is a fifth-grade teacher and nighttime DJ with two sons and says his family is No. 1, with his love of music at No. 2. Living without both is going to be tough for him. He is also the oldest houseguest and the only houseguest with children. He is a little scared that his wife will be jealous while watching him and wishes he had spent more time talking to her about his game play. He has no set strategy, not because he doesn’t know how to strategize but because there really isn’t a way to plan anything without knowing the rest of his housemates. He probably will be a character, and people watching the show will like him. He has a good shot at doing well in the “Big Brother” game.

LYDIA: Lydia is a fun girl who looks like she is really outgoing but is actually kind of shy and reserved. After meeting her for only a few minutes, I trusted her, and I think the other houseguests will feel that as well, if they take the time to talk to her. She hopes that her housemates will be open-minded, and doesn’t like when people judge her or others. She loves music and will really miss going to concerts while living in the house. It is tough to read how well she’ll do — she wants to fly under the radar, but she has a lot to say. Among her many tattoos is a pawn on her finger; only time will tell whether she uses her housemates as pawns or becomes one herself.

CornerOffice Speaks? CornerOffice SPEAKS!

s11So I’m doing my friendly mod duties at the BBQ and HOT DAMN look who posts – CornerOffice! We’re not entirely sure if it’s him but everything looks like it’s the real guy.

The House Guests enter the house on July 5th.

As far as the twist, I’ll ask you a question. What clique were you part of in High School?

Very, VERY interesting. Everyone can very easily relate to a high school bully,  being in the “in crowd” or not. HURRY UP MONDAY!!!!!

Media Day: June 29th!

s11Just a short note, that the media personal have left the house a couple of hours ago – but they have to keep mum until June 29th! UGH! COME ON! It’s killing us.

Basing on what Allison said in her interview, this is the ‘near future/very very soon’ that she’s talking about. So a week and a few days. Based on last season, they showed us video (so house tidbits at the very least). YAY! I’m so excited to hear what they have to say. June 29th, hurry the hell up!

Does anyone know who went into the house? I heard that Perez Hilton went in, same with Billy Bush. We know for sure that that woman off of the John Jay & Rich show went it, as well as BSideBlog! That’s 8 others! Who are yew!

Alli G Talks Big Brother 11!

s11radio1Okay okay, so not that Alli G. But Allison Grodner was on the John Jay & Rich show today, talking about the upcoming season. You can listen to the interview below… but she kinda lets a little secret slip out. All the commericals thus far have said there will be 12 house guests, but she says Julie’s child will be the 14th house guest this season. Hmmmm, right? Other stuff mentioned in the interview is she claims the twist this season is innovative and ‘relatable’. Allison also says that this season’s cast is amazing and unique (we’re getting tired of that too) and that we will receive media (pics & video) VERY soon. Yay!

If you’d like to listen to Allison’s interview, you can do so here: Grodner Interview

Chat Alongside Past HGs This Summer!

So RealPlayer has FINALLY gotten the grasp of what BB fans want – interaction in the highest form. They’ve really really stepped it up this season. REALLY. First Dick’s show, then Dick & Janelle, Chelsia’s lunchtime webshow, upgrading the feed interface… and now this! Former HGs will be randomly entering the feed chat at any given time to chat along side us! AWESOME. A-MAZE-ING! So far, Amanda is the only one I know of but totally expect more to be confirmed – or surprise you – through-out the summer! :D Here’s her promo!

Commercial Says 12 House Guests

Well, we all know the S9 debacle (they said there was 14 HGs, then days later it was changed to 16), and all remember Robyn Kass saying that the promoters don’t know what they’re talking about but the latest CBS commercial added to youtube says 12 house guests right off the bat. If you live in Canada (or another country) you’ll have to view it with a youtube proxy (goog youtube proxy) to view it!

Feed Interface Upgraded

HOLY MOTHER THERE IS A BIG BROTHER GOD!!!!!! RealPlayer just released the best news I’ve heard all day. Well, I heard it from the Reality BBQ, who heard it from the DishChicks, but none the less. It’s got AWESOME new features such as going back in time to few the feeds (including BB10) and yeah… plus you won’t have the quad anymore and omg it’s just so exciting! Anyway, I’ll post DishChicks post below!

Here’s what I know so far… My favorite improvement is gonna be called either the Calendar or the Flashback or the Time Machine, and while you may already be getting the gist of it just from the name, allow me to explain how it’s gonna work.

Let’s say some HG’s head explodes while you’re at work, you’ll be able to plug in the time it happened, and go back to view it. Let’s say the HoH reveal is taking too long, and you’ve just got to go to sleep. No problem. Just plug in the time you want, or the time your ever loving dishchicks have told you to look for, and poof, there you are.

Let’s say you’re reading the overnight report, and while we’ve posted screencaps of HGx and HGy getting busy or getting caught coming out of the shower or having a big fight, pics just aren’t enough for you. You want to see how it all happened! Now you can, right there within the Big Brother Interface on Superpass.

Here’s the mock up of what it’s going to look like:

Anyhow, moving right along, the presentation of the rooms has also been upgraded. No longer will you have to go to quad to see what’s going on everywhere, or flip from feed to feed.

In the pic above, take notice that along the bottom are a line up of videos. To my understanding, this is where key moments of the season will go, accessible all the time and changing frequently. Big Fights, Funny Escapades, Burlesque Shows??

Dick and Janelle to replace House Calls!

Ohhhhhhh heck yes! They’re doing their own show and it consists of everything House Calls should have been in the first place. Dick blogged about it today and he also dishes out more of his plans for his wrap party in Vegas. Deets below!

I have had so many people asking me what is up for me this BB season… I figure I will tell everyone all at once and save myself the carpal tunnel…. So hold on to your panties, this will be a long, blabbering, ranting blog.

Ready?

I will be doing my weekly webcast for Real Player again this year.

RealPlayer Superpass has given me my own tab in their browser, which will closely link my website and my myspace etc… They have been great to work with and our relationship is solid.

I have some fun guests lined up and we will be out on locations more this season, we will also have more past houseguests….The viewers were out in huge numbers for the show last year and I don’t see any reason why that would change.

But I will also be doing a weekly webcast with Janelle to fill the void left by the Cancellation of Housecalls.

Rumor: Two Houses This Year?

Of course, the rumors are starting to generate but here’s one that is a tad interesting. Again, a member on Jokers Updates created a thread full of ‘inside info’ he received while snooping around the CBS lot. We creeped his other posts and he seems fairly credible but when things are this early, who knows what to believe. Here’s his post below!

I live in the LA area and my brother works for security on the BB lot. I decided I’d venture into the lot and see if I could get any info from the construction workers, etc.

I met this one guy and I told him I worked as an intern for CBS. He did not believe me, but his friend walked by as I was leaving and sarcastically said “who’s idea was it to build a second %#@^ing house this year?”. I said “WAIT A SECOND HOUSE!?” and the guy goes “Yeah. An exact freaking replica”.

Interested, I walked around the lot and asked everyone I could about the new season. I talked with a woman who claimed to be close to the show. She explained that this year, there are apparently two houses with 12 people in each. They both think they’re in the original (and only) house. The idea is that it’s a battle of the houses. Each week, one person from each house is evicted. And at the end, America decides which of the two winners (one winner in each house) gets to keep the money.

I didn’t believe this woman at first, but with the construction worker saying the whole building another house thing… it just might be true.

That leaves us questioning one thing… If you’re so ‘close to the show’, why would you release so much info to some random cruising the lot?
