New Twist Rumor
Again, Jokers has some random “spilling the beans’ about this seasons twist. Interestingly enough, all the rumors from ’sources’ that have come out of Joker’s have all been twists on other versions of Big Brother, mostly concerning Big Brother Australia. (Two houses rumor, being green, and now this). Magical. Could this guys post be true? As always, I don’t know, but it’s still fun to speculate and talk about it. Oddly enough, I SUPPORT this rumor because if there’s one thing I’d love implemented in the game, it would be to prevent house guests from throwing competitions. At least this would give them some incentive to try or possibly be up for nomination [if HG's realize someone is purposely throwing competitions -thus no money in the pot].
If Big Brother is taking notes from other versions, please, PLEASE let them ‘borrow’ the shopping budget tasks and punishments for breaking the rules. They know not to talk about Diary Room sessions, that they must wear their microphone (unless they’re sleeping) and that the bedroom lights must remain on during the day. PUNISHMENT!!! Okay, okay, getting back on track… If the show cannot afford a wrap party, I have a hard time believing that they’d be willing to up the ante higher than 500K [or make more challenges to have them reach 500K].
I’m a little hesitant to post this, as I’m sure I’ll get some hate/disbelief claims, but it’s certainly pertinent!
One of my old college buddies has a job with EndemolUSA out in Cali, and while he isn’t doing any work on Big Brother 11, he said he was pretty sure of some stuff going on in this season.
Initially I had taken everything he said with a grain of salt, but he had already told me that they decided to “do the house very green and ecofriendly,” and now that that has proven to be true, I’ve taken his other big claim more seriously. I’m still considering this speculation, but it sounds VERY plausible.
The twist? Here is a summary of what I have been told… CBS is making all of their shows cut back on their budget and saving where necessary (the economy blah blah blah), and this year, the twist is that when all the houseguests enter the house, they’re being told that the prize money this year is ZERO DOLLARS. And now, instead, they’ll have to build the prize money as they go along.
Now I don’t know if that means they’ll have to raise it in challenges, or by going without certain items in the house or whatever, and “Jim” (we’ll call my source that) didn’t know much beyond that. I assume the max they could get is the standard 500,000… but who knows.
Steve’s Update From Iraq!!!
YAY!!! Steven sent out his first update from Iraq! AND! He posted a BUNCH of pictures from Kuwait & Iraq. YEAH! That’s uber exciting because there aint much going on in BBLAND, aside from April & Michelle getting snubbed by Keesha on the radio (well, in our opinion anyway). Steven writes in his blog about his plane ride, going from riches (in Kuwait) to rags – if you will- in Iraq. He also talks about the weather, his eating/showering/sleeping arrangements (oobaby) and how he wants you to not only support the troops, but educate yourself about them. Links and pictures are in the second half. Cut in two just for you!
Hello to everyone back home or wherever you are in the world.
Had a few mintues and some working internet so I wanted to post a blog about some things that have been happening to me on the trip. I have so much to say and not even time to say it all.Basically life has been a super crazy rollercoaster ride since I stepped foot on the plane over here. It all started with a 2 hour flight to Atlanta, then a 14 hour flight to Dubai, next a 2 hour flight to Kuwait city, 2 hours to get a Visa, an hour spent filling a report for my lost bag and a 30 minute ride to the hotel, it was a very long day!
Once in Kuwait it was all fancy and fun times, we stayed at a beautiful fancy hotel, J.W. Marriott, with great food and fantastic service. Spent two nights there then it was a 2 hour flight to Baghdad, this became the most unique and exciting part thus far.
The plane lands on the military side of Baghdad International Airport and we are instructed to exit the plane and wait on the tarmack, next is a very long walk with all my luggage to meet our point of contact, then wait in line to be given linens and assigned a tent. The first tent I had slept about 25 guys and was very close quarters, no room at all. We shower and use the bathroom in a trailer that is commonly known as “The Cadillac”, it really isn’t that bad at all.

“Hello everyone,
First off, i want to thank everyone for all of the nice messages and comments that you have written me. I have just returned to LA. after a long vacation back in Ohio. While i was in Ohio i got to meet my new nephew braidon and see my little niece jayla. It was so nice spending time with them. I spent much needed time with all my family and old friends.
I also went to visit dan in Michigan while i was there, i took two of my best friends with me and they were so excited to meet dan the man. LOl….. Dans mom was very sweet to all of us and his sister kelly is a sweetheart. Dan gave us a tour of St. Marys and introduced us to some of the teachers and students, all of who was very nice. We also got to watch dan teach a class!!!!!!
I have not been back to work yet, i will be traveling a bit in the future for hooters. I will be in San Diego later this week for calendar signings and then i will be headed to Washinton at the beginning of next month. I will try to keep all of you posted on any new news in my life.
