‘America’s Got Talent’ to find contestants on YouTube
This is pretty cool! At least we get to see them instead of just the edited versions on the show. Don’t they do this in the UK, too? The only thing that’s missing from this, is that I wish we could vote for the top 12, instead of the producers – but what can you do. Maybe next year. TLF
America’s Got Talent starts on June 1st on NBC.
Exclu: NBC and the producers of “America’s Got Talent” are partnering with YouTube to put the show’s audition process online.
Starting Monday, acts can upload their videos onto a special page on the video-sharing site to be in consideration for the summer show. From the submitted videos, producers from FremantleMedia North America will select 40 to be posted on a “Got Talent” YouTube channel for users to vote on. A total of 12 acts from YouTube submissions will perform live on the NBC show.
” ‘Expect the unexpected’ has always been core to the success of ‘AGT’,” said Paul Telegdy, executive vp alternative programming at NBC. “This audacious new twist to the audition process offers our viewers not only a priceless golden ticket to get onto the biggest stage in the country in the middle of the competition, but also the opportunity for a thrilling live show where anything can happen. No other show would dare to take on this challenge.”
“Got Talent” videos have frequently become viral sensations on YouTube after airing, from last season’s winner Kevin Skinner to the U.K. version’s Susan Boyle. This arrangement gives NBC another portal to finding talent and helps generate buzz for the show, which returns June 1 with Howie Mandel joining the judges’ table. The submission site is www.youtube.com/americasgottalent.
Celebrity Apprentice Star Bret Michaels Suffers Brain Hemorrhage

Rock of Love star and current Celebrity Apprentice contestant Bret Michaels was rushed to the hospital late Thursday night after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage. The 47-year-old Poison frontman is currently in critical condition.
“After several CAT scans, MRIs and an angiogram, [doctors] decided to keep Michaels in the ICU and are running several tests to determine the cause. [It] will be touch and go for the next few days while he is under intense observation,” a source told People.com.
This is Michaels’ second hospital scare this month, previously visiting a San Antonio, Texas hospital for an emergency appendectomy on April 12.
The Apprentice Is Returning To NBC!
This is amazing news! I think they realize that people are growing tired of the Celebrity version despite them being able to get high profile celebrities (unlike most “celebrity” reality shows). Smart move. Hope it pays off. Article from RealityBlurred!
The non-celebrity Apprentice will return to NBC for a seventh season, the network just announced. Just under a year ago, NBC posted and removed a casting notice for the regular edition, which hasn’t aired in three years. There’s not been official word about the return date, but it will probably air in the fall.
The network’s press release says the show will attach itself to the recession, as “the boardroom will be open again for candidates who have been affected by the decline in the job market” and that “Trump will give the opportunity of their careers to 14 new candidates ranging in age — all of whom have been hit hard by the current economic downturn.”
However, it also says that candidates may be “talented and bright prospects who have lost their jobs with no hope in sight, people who are currently holding down jobs they don’t like just to make ends meet and recent college graduates who currently have few if any prospects.”
In other words: anybody.
Open casting calls have not yet been announced, but the show is casting via castingnbcapprentice@gmail.com, and wants “information regarding how the recession has impacted their lives” in addition to “a recent photo as well as name, location and occupation history.”

Dick: No wrap party? NO PROBLEM!
Hot off the presses, seriously! Seconds ago Dick blogged and now we’re bloggin’ the blog. Woop. So basically I’m cutting out all the Hustler stuff at the top since if you didn’t order a copy from him, it doesn’t pertain to you, and I’m also cutting out the whole Dilana & Luke Rossi reunion thing. If you want to know, read the whole blog. The BB stuff he had posted mentions what he’s hoping to do with RealPlayer as far as his webcast goes and what his plans are if there is no wrap party this season (which is rumored). Hurr it is!
I will be doing the Vegas meet and greet again this year after the end of the season with some other past Houseguests and I would imagine some of the not yet appointed BB11 HG’s. If the rumors and rumblings are true, there will be no wrap party this season for BB11, so this will be the closest thing to it and you are all invited!
I will keep you posted on the when and where, but plan on mid to late Sept.
I have been talking with RealPlayer and we are all excited about doing the webcast again this season. And if they come through (MATT) I will have a new piece of equipment that can get me on Real’s stream with only an internet connection and camera! That means I can be anywhere and do the webcast. And will be….
And I think I might just be in Pamplona, Spain for the first webcast of the season….
And… Oh, yes… I will be meeting Crazy James there and think I will be bringing Joe Barber (gonorrhea free Joe) with me for the annual Running of the Bulls! So, if RealPlayer can make that mother fucker wireless, you my friends will get my own personal, scarred shittless, about to get gored, perspective in the middle of it all:!!And you might even get to see one of us take a horn in the ass, the liver, the pancreas or flip us around by our underwear until we run out of the ring naked…. Whatever the outcome may be, you will have a reason to cheer, or boo your TV’s, just like the old days of 1 1/2 years ago.

Parker Update!
Oh my beloved Parker, how I miss thee! Well, life goes on and Parker is in a new commercial so he (and us) are totally showing if off. Plus he gives a nice little update. Here we go!

hello all. hope all is well. this is the very first commercial i booked for the san diego tourism board. try not to blink, or you’ll miss me. i did get a pretty good close up though. you can see me at 1:03 with a hat on.
things have been going great for me this past month. i booked 3 gigs this month. in addition to the san diego commercial, i was able to book a nintendo wii / nintendo dsi print ad. hopefully they’ll put it in stores… i think i’ll have a small calf if i saw it on the side of someone’s building… la/hollywood loves to advertise on buildings. that was a really fun shoot. while we weren’t taking pictures, we sat around and played with the new nintendo dsi all day. also, i was able to book a promo with the sci fi channel. we just wrapped last week. lots of green screen shooting, can’t wait to see the finished product. i’m really thankful for these opportunities. i was also able to work with some amazing people for all 3 gigs. everyone was really cool. anywho, i’ve been spending the majority of my time working out like a mad man (like twice a day) and spending a lot of time designing stuff on the computer….NOLED IS COMING!… that’s all you need to know about that for now.
oh and by the way, sorry for not accepting big brother fan friend requests on facebook. not trying to be an ass or anything but i really want to keep it more personal. hope yall understand… and if some don’t… that sounds like more of a personal problem.

Two Renny Updates!
Alrighty! Since a few people have put out mulitple updates while we were offline, I’ve decided to combine them, with the newest showing on the front and the older update posted afterwards. Woot! So Renny posted two updates, one complaining about how dull television is seeing the same people over and over again. The second one is that she’s going to be marrying a couple for the 97th time. I know that doesn’t sound right but she hasn’t married them 96 times, she’s just going to marry them for the 97th! Capiche? Capiche!
They are in the Guinness Book of Records and I think it’s magic!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Fans, I have been asked to be Maid of Honor at David and Lauren Blairs wedding! They have been married 97 times, not divorced, I said married! They are coming to New Orleans and they let me choose the date , whaaaaaaatttttt! David says that’s 97 honeymoons, Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!!!!!! Talk about some testosterone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will take place at the Hard Rock Cafe May 13, 2009!
