EW Talks to Cirie About Her Time In Samoa!
HAHA And EPIC interivew by Dalton. It’s just so good. You must read it ASAP! He asks her a bunch of great questions, like if she was getting annoyed at Jeff at council and if he went too far, if she knew it was JT, about how she felt when James was attacking Steph, and if she finally made it down the slip-and-slide.
I want to start where it all ended for you: Tribal Council. Were you cringing the entire time Probst went on an on about the idiocy of voting off strong players?
Oh my God! Was I?!? I try not to react when Jeff makes his comments because everyone’s watching, everyone’s listening, and I don’t want to influence any vote one way or the other. And I’m trying to not let what he says influence the votes one way or the other — but absolutely! We sit on these little tree stumps. After Tribal was over when I got up I don’t know if you saw that toothpick fall from right under, but I literally was clenching my behind the whole time, like, “Please, Jeff, just move on to something else!” He was going exactly against why I was telling them we should vote out Tom, so yeah, that was a real clencher for me.Did Probst go too far, in your opinion?
Um, you know, no. I can’t say Jeff ever goes too far. This is what he does. This is why I love watching Survivor. Whether or not it ended up influencing people one way or another, we’ll never know. But I don’t think he went too far. You have to counteract what he’s saying, and if you can, you can, and if you can’t, you can’t.Did you know it was J.T. that voted you off?
No, I wasn’t sure who it was. I felt like › Continue reading
Jeff Probst Weekly Blog: Episode 4
Awe yeah! Jeff is back this week and he’s talking about Coach – a lot about Coach. From the time he started crying, to when Rob tried to light a fire under his ass. He also talks about the Idol, the immunity challenge and how the Heroes are finally on the right track. Check it out below or head to EW for the full article plus some deleted scenes.
WE ALL WANT TO BE LIKED
COACH: (battling tears) “Why doesn’t anybody ever say anything nice about me?”
There it is. The Answer. The great mystery has been solved. Nine simple words and you have the secret to understanding Coach.
He just wants to be liked.
Is that so much to ask?
SCREEEECH! Oh, for crying out loud, I can already hear the Coach haters telling me to get over my “Coach Crush.” Let me just deal with you guys right quick by delving into my 7th grade bag of insults. How ’bout this one… “Bite me.” Has a nice ring to it. I may use it again later.
Let me also tell you up front that I’m slightly annoyed as I write this. › Continue reading
EW Asks Randy Some Questions!
And here’s EntertainmentWeekly’s interview with Randy!! It’s not that bad, if you can stand Randy (which.. I can’t) but I still felt bad for the guy. Anyway… Here it is! Don’t forget to head to EW to see a deleted scene from last night!
When we spoke before the game, you were confident you would win, yet you ended up being the very first one voted off your tribe. What did you in? Was it your lack of physical strength or your inability to socially integrate with your tribemates?
I would have to say the social integration. Not that I am socially inept, because despite the edit I actually can put two sentences together. My downfall was definitely more social than physical. I could just not connect with the young girls. We saw you talking about Parvati and how it was going to be Micronesia 2.0 once she met up with James and Amanda and Cirie. What’s interesting to me about this is that before the game, that’s all the other players could talk about. They were really worried about that happening, yet still didn’t want to cut her loose. Why didn’t they pull the trigger?
Russell. And then Rob finally flipped, too. Russell had an alliance with Parvati since day one and he wasn’t gonna let that get screwed up. And Boston Rob and I just kinda clashed. He’s tough to work with. I let him have his way all the time. He’s good at challenges and he’s good at puzzles, but these puzzles are like 6 pieces to put together. I think there are other people that are capable. And Boston Rob doesn’t see it that way. He claims to have played this game 3 times and every time he’s on what he called “the buffoon tribe.” The common denominator in all three tribes is him! I think he might want to think about that a little bit.Did they tell you that you were going home?
Jeff’s Episode 3 Blog!
Oh Jeff, how we love thee. This week, he talks a little more about the James drama, Jeri vs Pav, Russell, mud wrestling, and how he thinks the vote was right… HERE WE GO!
PREVIOUSLY ON… SURVIVOR
When last I left you…James appeared to be in the beginning stages of losing his mind. Last week’s tribal council ended with the very ugly and unnecessary comment from James to Stephenie: “Shut your mouth.”
Ah, so lovely.
Look, I’ve been a big fan of James from day one. I voted for him to be on Fans vs. Favorites and I voted for him to be on Heroes vs. Villains and up until this season I would have referred to him with affectionate phrases like “James the Gentle Giant.” Yeah… those days are gone.
I don’t know if James was going through something personal like trying to quit smoking or if he had a bad rash nobody knew about but something has definitely changed.
James is just not a nice guy these days. More on that later.
SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY
Boston Rob’s strategy tip was absolutely brilliant: “I’m gonna give you the key. Watch who is sleeping with whom at night.”
Talk about insight. It’s amazing what we reveal about ourselves without realizing it.
