Channel 5 reportedly signed a two year, 200 million pound deal, with Endemol. The earliest the show will return will be in August with a three week celebrity series, immedaitely followed by a 13 week series in September.  The show would resume it’s regular schedule in January with yet another installment of Celebrity Big Brother, and then be back for it’s regular summer fun in June.

With the return, however, don’t expect to see the same old format. Viewers should prepare for much more involvement than previous series’. While details are still being finalized, new house mates may have to make live nominations in under one minute (similar to Big Brother US), viewers will get to pick who does a task and what task they have to perform and much more.

According to the tabloid, a source revealed: “Big Brother has always been proud of its boast that ‘you decide’ who stays or goes. Well now that’s being taken even further. For the first time, viewers really will be able to decide virtually everything that happens during the show’s run.

“Nominations take too long, with people painfully struggling to decide. Giving them a time limit will spice things up. Viewers will vote as usual in the weekly evictions but there will be at least four housemates up for the chop each week,” the source added.

Of course, several celebrities have been linked to the August return of the show including Charlie Sheen, Chelsy Davy (Prince Harry’s on/off muse), Tinie Tempah, Peaches Geldof and more!  Who would you like to see in the Celebrity Big Brother house?

Some changes that will occur are that the show will be on a smaller scale, but house mates will stay in the house for a longer period of time. Sources say that a deal is days away and Channel 5 is making programme annoucements on Monday.

A deal to bring Big Brother to Channel 5 is ‘on the verge’ of completion after they agreed commercial terms with Endemol, MediaGuardian reports.

According to the paper, the two parties now only need to sign the deal for it to become official. Should there be no last-minute problems, it is expected that this will happen within a few days.

Their source claims that final details regarding how the show will run on the broadcaster are being discussed. It is likely that the new version will be on a smaller scale than the Channel 4 run, and the main series will last longer than C4?s typical 13 weeks.

“Endemol need the money, which is why they’ve done the deal, having broken it off before,” the source said. “Executives are now down to final details but broadly they are there.”

A ‘second source’ added: “Channel 5?s ratings are not great and Big Brother will really help them deliver, particularly given there is nothing on the schedule or seemingly in the works to produce such numbers.”

Both sides have again refused to comment on the situation.

It is thought the broadcaster will make programme announcements on Monday, to coincide with an on-air rebrand of Channel 5 and the launch of Live From Studio Five replacement OK! TV.

Channel 4 have confirmed that Big Brother 11 will end on the 24th of August. This will make way for the ‘Ultimate Champion’ competition series to end the whole ten years on a high.

A number of ‘classic housemates’ will be appearing in the ‘Ultimate Champion’ series, including some from past Celebrity editions and normal Summer series.

Current housemates are oblivious to what is going on, and the winner of BB11 will be shocked when it is revealed that he/she will be staying in the house for another two weeks, competing with past winners, to win the ‘Ultimate Champion’ title.

It is anticipated that producers are eager to throw some more housemates into the house before the series is out to stir things up. Could this let the secret out about the ‘Ultimate Champion’, to competing housemates?

According to show bosses, the Tuesday finish for the eleventh and final series, was decided on, purely because it would be a bit different and surprise housemates.

Big Brother is currently contacting over 250+ housemates and celebrities to see if they are willing enough to participate one last time in the ultimate Big Brother house, and  “submit themselves to Big Brother’s control once more.”

The number of housemates and celebrities returning is still undecided. As soon as we find out we will let you budding fans know.

Mario was visibly upset, screaming at the other house mates saying that he was the one who had worked the hardest to be here. This wasn’t offensive to the other house mates though, they justified his actions by claiming Big Brother means so much to Mario and he doesn’t want to go.

Shabby did pass the task and has won a dinner for herself and one friend.

Just as last week, all four will compete in a task to win immunity and replace themselves with someone else.

Dave won the first immunity challenge. His, Sunshine’s and Shabby’s task was to ?carry big pieces of foam cheese across a course. As mentioned Dave won with 1:31 seconds.

Shockingly, Dave picked Rachael as his replacement nominee, which also shocked the house.

They will partake in a special challenge set by Big Brother, and the winner will be removed from Nomination! PLUS! The winner will get to chose a person to nominate and that person will take their spot!!

Later, Big Brother asked the house who they thought the mole was, and if they picked the correct person, they’d be evicted.

Majority of the house picked Sunshine – Ife did pick Mario – but he gets to stay and is now a full house mate.

He still has the screwdriver and it is unknown of it’s purpose.
