BB14 Casting Calls: Wardrobe and Arrivals

A few weeks ago, Big Brother 10 winner, Dan Gheesling, was giving out tips on how to send in your audition tape and today he is answering two frequently asked questions regarding what to wear and when to arrive at an open casting call.

What do I wear to an Open Casting Call? And what time should I get there?
What to wear: Wear what you would normally wear for a night out on the town – but make sure it is unique to you.  If you normally go out for the night in a pinstripe suit and fedora – wear it.

If you have never worn a fedora in your life now is not the time to start.  Use your unique style in your clothing, it is another way to express yourself and stand out during the auditions, just make sure it is authentic!

(At my auditions I simply wore a black button up shirt, nice pear of jeans, and black shoes.  This is what I normally wear out – not to mention I felt the most comfortable and confident in it!)

When to get there: Be prepared to wait for a while no matter what time you get there.  Don’t give yourself a time limit (“I will be in and out of here in an hour”) because it will just freak you out if you have somewhere to be after.

You want to remove all external distractions from your audition, time commitment being a huge one.  Remove it so you can focus on the one thing that matters: the audition.

Prepare to wait for at least a few hours during your open call.   If there ends up being no line, or if it goes by fast, you will be more than covered.
