Big Brother 12

Once there, Art & JJ, Vanessa & Ralph, Rachel & Dave are on the same bus. Brenchel miss the first bus but quickly get on the second one.

One the bus Benchel make a friend who teaches them how to buy tickets, all while the other three teams are struggling on how to purchase their tickets. Brenchel, Art & JJ and Vanessa & Ralph get on the same train, this time leaving Rachel & Dave 20 minutes behind, waiting for the next train.

Once there, Brenchel, Art & JJ and Vanessa & Ralph are first on the ferry to the island, which is also the last ferry of the night, meaning Dave & Rachel will have to stay behind on shore for the rest of the evening. Rachel & Dave continue to argue on the dock.

The other three teams find their route marker but discover that they will not receive their clue until the morning – when Rachel & Dave get there. Later in the morning, a man gives them a clue telling them to head to the Hiroshima peace memorial park.

All teams will travel by bullet train to Osaka and head to a TV studio, where they will find their next clue!

Vanessa & Ralph and Art & JJ take a cab, while the other two teams take the train. Art & JJ arrive first to the Roadblock.

In this Roadblock, teams will participate in a Japanese game show, they will have to sprint on a track and grab three chickens hanging on a string above them and carry them away.

Art quickly grabs all three chickens but is having a tough time jumping off the track onto the mat.

Vanessa and Ralph go to the wrong building, and hop back into a cab to go to the right building.

Art now finsihes and finds out that they will head to the Omeda flight building to figure out the next part of their Detour.

Vanessa & Ralph arrive, Vanessa decides to do the task. Brenchel arrive and Brendon decides to do it. Rachel & Dave are there now and Rachel decides to take it on!

Brendon quickly finishes, followed by Rachel. Vanessa is struggling because of her ankle. Ralph is telling her to stop and to just take the penalty because she can’t continue to injure herself but she is unsure of what to do. Ralph keeps pressuring her to stop but the Japenese people keep telling her to go on. She finally grabs the last chicken and runs on the mat!

At the detour, teams have two options. Pick Sushi off a conveyor belt and put it on a sushi card. They will need to identify and get 5 x 5 (like bingo) and then eat the pieces. In Photo cut out, teams will have to confince locals to take a picture with a sumo cut out and deliver them.

Art & JJ pick Sushi.

Rachel and Dave arrive second and do Photo Cut Out. Brenchel arrives third and picks Sushi. Rachel & Dave hop in a taxi and drive off while Brenchel asks some locals for directions. Dave & Rachel hop out and then ask for directions.

At Sushi Bingo, Art & JJ are well on their way but Brenchel finally show up.

Rachel and Dave have some troubles trying to get people to take a picture, but they pick up speed and find 10 in no time. They are given their clue for the pitstop at Osaka Castle.

Meanwhile, Art & JJ finally get a SUSHI and scarf down their food before heading to the pitstop.

Vanessa and Ralph catch up to Brenchel at Sushi Bingo! Brenchel finishes! Vanessa & Ralph quickly finish.

Once again, Rachel & Dave are departing first and find out they will fly to Honolulu, Hawaii and head to the Twin Towers to find their next clue.

All teams arrive at the same time and are racing to the towers. Rachel & Dave are the first team to figure out the location, same with Brenchel. Art & JJ are driving around blind, with no set destination. Rachel & Dave’s driver notices that they are following them and he tries to lose them.

Rachel & Dave arrive first and figure out they will make their way to the top of the 45 foot tower, then search their next clue from the top… and then repel back down. Brenchel also arrive at the same time and are facing off against Rachel & Dave.

While the other two teams are moving on with their task, Art & JJ are going farther off course.

Rachel & Dave get to the top first. They spot the clue and start to descend.

Dave and Rachel get back to their taxi and Dave tells their driver where to go.

Brenchel now descends and is on their way to the next clue.

Dave and Rachel arrive first and  find the roadblock – shave ice. Using a Samaria sword, teams must shave ice to fill a bucket. Dave takes on the task.

Brenchel arrives and Brendon takes it on.

Dave finishes quickly and head on foot to the helicopter in the clue. Art & JJ arrive. Brenchel finishes but leaves by taxi to the helicopters. Art & JJ finish and go to the helicopters.

Rachel and Brendon realize their mistake, while driving, and have to go back.

Dave & Rachel arrive first, and discover that they will act as a lifeguard. One person will be in the water, the other will be driving while they go and save their stranded swimmer.

Meanwhile, Brenchel corrects their mistake, walk to the helicopter and are now on their way.

Rachel & Dave finish their task and have to go to the Royal Kingdom Gate. Art & JJ now arrive and take on the lifeguard task.

Unfortunately, Dave & Rachel’s taxi driver gets lost and they are going a mile in the wrong direction. Art & JJ now finish the lifeguard task

Brenchel finally arrives. They complete their task.

Rachel & Dave go to the wrong place, and hop on some paddle boards, sending them to the finish line.

Art & JJ arrive at the roadblock, where they have to sled down a hill and knock a ball.

Rachel & Dave arrive at the final pitstop only to be told that they didn’t complete the race and they must go back before they can be checked in.

Art & JJ are still trying. Rachel & Dave are now back on the dock and are half of a mile behind, but quickly meet up with Dave & Rachel.

Art & JJ now realize that they are still in the game. Rachel now quickly finishes the first part of the task and the second part. They are now heading off to the finish line – for real this time.

Brenchel now arrives at the roadblock. Rachel makes it on her second sled! She moves onto the bowling. Art finally makes it to the bottom!

Rachel and Dave now arrive and win The Amazing Race!

Art and JJ come in second.

Brendon and Rachel come in third!

Brenchel arrive at the Fast Forward and find out that they will both have to shave their heads,  an ancient Indian tradition. Brendon is ready but Rachel does not want to.

After the break, they decide to skip the Fast Forward and move on to the next clue.

Vanessa and Ralph arrive first at the Roadblock – where teams to work in a 50 year old facility and spin rope out of coconut husks.

Ralph decides to take it on. Rachel & Dave arrive shortly after and he takes it on against Ralph. Art & JJ arrive and Art takes on the Roadblock.

Back at the hotel, Bopper and Mark are keeping their spirits high and are confident that they will win, yet are still one hour away from leaving.

Brenchel finally arrives and confuses everyone else about why they didn’t do the Fast Forward. This gives JJ an idea as he fears Bopper and Mark will take the Fast Forward and knock one of those four out.

Dave finishes spinning his rope first, and moves onto the second part. Ralph ends up lapping Dave and finishing first. They have to go to Fort Kishi.

On their way, Vanessa falls and says she hurt her ankle – the one that has a screw in it. She claims she heard a pop and he asks her if she can walk. She tries to walk on it and continues on, despite the pain.

Dave now finishes.

Brendon is catching up to Art as he’s on his last roll. However, JJ now taunts Rachel as she didn’t go for the Fast Forward. This upsets JJ and Rachel also feels guilty as they’re also now in last place… but Brendon finishes minutes later and they go.

Bopper and Mark are just now leaving.

Rachel & Dave and Vanessa & Ralph arrive at the Tree together and arrive a detour: Pachyderm or Pack a Box.

In Pachyderm, they must decorate an elephant then shovel and trasport elephant dung to a truck. In pack a box, teams will take part in the spice trade by packing 10 boxes with dry ginger, seal it, then deliver it.

Both teams decide to take on Pachyderm. Brenchel and Art & JJ also arrive at the same time. Brenchel days Pachyderm and Art & JJ take on Pack A Box.

All three teams arrive at Pachyderm and are facing off against each other, while Art & JJ arrive at Pack A Box.

Rachel and Dave dress their elephant first and are off to transport the dung.
Vanessa and Ralph and Brenchel finish shortly after and move onto the next step.

Art & JJ are taking a lot of time packing their boxes with ginger, as there are many steps to getting it right.

Brenchel happens to catch up catch up and pass the other teams.

Rachel & Dave finish first, they will head to Cheena Vala Fishing Nets for the pit shop. Vanessa and Ralph finish. Brenchel finish.

Brendon and Rachel now pass Vanessa and Ralph on the road.

Rachel & Dave are waiting on the ferry and they pay the guy to get a head start, leaving Brenchel and Vanessa & Ralph on the dock.

Art & JJ are still on their task, feeling ill from exhaustion.

Bopper and Mark arrive at the Speed Bump. They will have to paint a tiger on a belly of a dancer.

While the other teams are completing the last steps of the Detour, Bopper & Mark now complete their Speed Bump and head to the Fast Forward after meeting with the priest.

When Rachel & Dave arrive, they arrive to a Roadblock – where they have to master a Bollywood dance routine and perform for a Bollywood director.

Rachel, JJ, Rachel and Vanessa take it on. While they are learning the dance Mark starts feeling motion sickness riding in the rough Indian traffic.

However, they still make it to the challenge. Bopper tells Mark to perform the task as his knee is in too much pain. While Bopper is making his way to learn his routine, JJ tries his had at performing it for the director, however he quickly fails and has to start again.

Rachel (Dave) takes her turn at performing for the director. After being a dancer for most of her childhood, she aces the dance and gets their clue! Her and Dave discover that they have to go to Indian Coffee House and search for the head waiter to get their next clue.

Vanessa is up next to try performing. She makes several errors and has to go back.

Rachel (Brendon) is up next. Brendon advises her to relax and have fun, yet she still makes a mistake and has to start over.

Mark is feeling more and more ill.

JJ fails his second attempt.

Vanessa feels her second attempt.

Mark is struggling with the heat, feeling ill and memorizing the moves.

Rachel is up for her second chance and she fails again.

Mark decides that he should just try to perform, all while Rachel is breaking down because she’s frustrated.

Vanessa tries for a third time and she passes the task!

JJ is freaking out that he cannot do this.

Rachel is up for her third try and she nails it!

JJ peaks with frustration and Mark continues to decline in health, feeling more ill.

JJ passes and moves on.

On Marks 7th fialed attempt, Bopper tries telling him to skip the task, but Mark says he’s going to die trying.

On his 11th fail, Bopper really tries to tell him to skip the task and go home. Mark doesn’t want to, he believes they’re still in the task, but Bopper doesn’t want him to get heat stroke. Mark is really struggling and decides it’s best for them to go home because he wants to be alive for his kids, and that’s not worth 1 million dollars.

The instructors try talking Mark back into trying one last time, but Mark has had enough.

Mark is sitting in the dressing room tent and Bopper now tells him to complete it for their kids, to make them proud.

Mark finally finishes it on his 12th try!

Dave and Rachel arrive at the detour :Cricket or Clutch it.

Cricket has each team member hit a cricket ball around a course.

In Clutch It, team members will have to learn how to drive a rickshaw and go through a training course.

Rachel and Dave pick Clutch It. She tries but keeps stalling. She swaps out with Dave and he cruises through the course but fails. He tries again. They argue about where to go, but he passes and Rachel goes back behind the wheel. She has trouble with the course but Dave guides he through.

Bolgatty Palace will be the next pit shop!

Vanessa and Ralph arrive a Clutch it, Brenchel and Art & JJ pick Cricket.

Vanessa fails the course and has to try again. Brendon scores a point first, followed by JJ. Art claims that he can’t/won’t let Rachel score before them, however, she does and is currently is second place!

Art manages to hit one shortly after and are in third.

In Water supply, teams will help the locals build a water well by filling up all 9 container and then filling up locals water basins.. In Air Supply, teams will help repair a bicycle and fix a tire puncture. Both teams pick Air Supply.

Soon, Art & JJ arrive at Hillary Clinton and pick Water Supply.

At Air Supply, Rachel & Dave make a deal with Bopper & Mark to not use the U-Turn on each other. Art & JJ realize how much time their task is going to take, but they decide to stay and complete it anyway. There are about 100 people in line before them, and each bucket takes 35 seconds to fill.

Rachel and Brendon now arrive at Hillary Clinton and choose Air Supply. Vanessa and Ralph are stuck looking for Hillary Clinton and walk right past it.

Bopper and Mark finish first and receive a clue that tells them to go by foot to Jack Seltzer Pub – Caution: U-Turn Ahead. Dave and Rachel finish shortly after.

All while this is happening, Nary & Jamie are finally leaving and are about to go on their safari.

Bopper and Mark arrive at the pub, they decide to not detour anyone. The clue tells them to go to Gem Gallery and Arts.

Rachel & Dave arrive also choose to not U-Turn anyone.

All while this is happening, Vanessa and Ralph STILL cannot find Hillary Clinton and Nary & Jamie are catching up.

Rachel & Dave arrive first, followed by Bopper & Mark and are told to go to Margarete’s Farm.

Art & JJ finally finish their task and are in third place, they decide to U-Turn Rachel & Brendon.

Brendon & Rachel are in 4th place and find out they are U-Turned. Brendon and Rachel U-Turn Vanessa and Ralph and head off to complete Water Supply.

Vanessa and Ralph now arrive at the Pub and figure out they’re U-Turned. They also go to complete Water Supply.

Bopper and Mark are first to arrive at the Road Block. This roadblock requires teams to harvest honey from a beehive. After collecting 500 grams of honey, they will get their clue!

Rachel and Dave arrive a few minutes later and the two teams square off for first place.

Art & JJ are still on the way, and they are honing in on the fact that they think Dave didn’t use the U-Turn on Brenchel, despite their agreement.

Brenchel finally as their water and is trying to carry it back, however Vanessa and Ralph are now in line waiting to get their 9 containers filled.

At the beehive, the two teams are still competing and Bopper finishes first. They will have to go to the pitstop – Lake Manyara.

Art & JJ arrive and notice that Dave and Rachel are there, and that Dave didn’t U-Turn Brenchel… just as Dave & Rachel finish. Art & JJ ask why they didn’t U-Turn and they said because Nary & Jamie are way too far behind for anyone to be passed by them. Art & JJ now determine that they are playing alone and wish to never speak to Rachel & Dave anymore.

Art & JJ quickly pass the roadblock and head off to the pitstop.

Brendon and Rachel finish the water task, Vanessa and Ralph finish the water task, and Nary & Jamie finally finish their task. They run into Brenchel and they inform them that they still have a chance because they U-Turned Vanessa & Ralph. They also tell them where to go so they don’t waste time searching for the cluebox.

While driving to the Beehive, Vanessa & Ralph encounter a flat tire. (haha) This gives Nary & Jamie time to catch up, they later meet up however Nary & Jamie have to complete their speed bump, which is to set up an art display.

Brenchel/Art & JJ arrive at the same time. They are given a detour: Marksmanship or Courtship.

In Marskmanship, teams will learn to hunt like the Masai and in Coutship, teams woll join that Masai in a jumping ritual, by jumping for one minute.

Art & JJ try their hand at Marksmanship but have some problems. Brenchel take on Courtship, and quickly pass. Art and JJ quickly pass as well, and soon pass Brenchel on the way back.

Rachel & Dave pick Marksmanship. Bopper & Mark pick Courtship. They both quickly pass.Nary & Jamie pick Marksmanship, while Vanessa & Ralph are having many troubles biking to their location.

Despite Brenchel and Art & JJ completing the detour first, Rachel & Dave arrive at the cluebox first and discover that they will have to pitch an elaborate safari tent, and then race to check in!

All teams catch up at this task, Vanessa & Ralph coming in last. Many teams are struggling and becoming exhausted.
