Rob Admits Russell Got The Best Of Him

Rob’s interview! Always good since Dalton is aces.  Does Rob think Russell got the best of him? Find out below! Don’t forget to head to EW.com to check out the deleted scene!

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY Point blank: Did Russell outplay you?
ROB MARIANO: Did Russell outplay me? It seems as if Russell got the better of me. At the end of the day, he was able to convince Jerri to vote with him and Coach didn’t stand up and do what he said he was going to do, and therefore I’m sitting here talking to you. Russell — very entertaining, I give him credit. I wouldn’t want him on my team ever! I wanted him gone from the outset. But I’m the one here talking to you, so he got me.

Do you think you two play a lot alike? I think in some ways, yes, because you’re both very aggressive, and in other ways not so much.
I would agree with you. I think parts of our game are very similar, and parts are completely opposite. My approach to the camp life and team aspect of challenges is in stark contrast to his. But strategy-wise, he recognized me as a threat from the beginning, as I did with him, And with me it’s either you’re with me or you’re against me, and I think it’s the same with him. We were against each other from the outset, and rather than working together we decided we were gonna get each other off, and it didn’t work out too good for me.

Jeff’s Weekly Blog: Episode 7!

Sorry for the delay,  cool cats. Had Easter plans :) Jeff’s awesome as ever. It’s a pretty funny one this week! Enjoy!

THE VOICE OF BOSTON ROB IS HEARD OVER A BLACK SCREEN

BOSTON ROB

The more and more I think about it, something doesn’t feel right. Something just doesn’t feel right.

FADE IN:

EXT. FENWAY PARK – NIGHT
The stadium lights shine onto the field filled with a large crowd of mourners, mostly dressed in red and blue.

JEFF PROBST

…and as we gather to pay our last respects to Boston Rob, I’d like to take a moment of silence to remember the many things he brought to the game of Survivor. He was the Godfather who left too soon in Survivor: Marquesas. On Survivor: All-Stars, he took a different approach. He put his arm around the beautiful Amber on day three and became her “knight in shining armor” as he dragged her to the end giving her the opportunity to win the million dollars while being a two-faced betrayer to everybody else — and he did it all with an evil smile that made many of us fall in love with him in a brand new way. And finally on Survivor; Heroes vs. Villains, he transformed himself yet again — this time into a fairly likable, extremely hardworking and challenge-dominating player who took it upon himself to go up against Russell, the biggest villain of all-time.Some might say the karma of past betrayals finally caught up with B Rob and he went down hard. Probably for the last time. Rob… you will be missed.

There is silence in the stadium. Then… a shout from the cheap seats.

Fallen Idol: An Interview With Didi

I’m glad she was kicked off. She was way too whiny and was trying to be candid about something we weren’t impervious to – thus, I think she was voted off. Yes, I don’t think her vocals are what did her in, more so her attitude.

Listen, girl, we know that it’s hard but apparently keeping it all in isn’t working. There are millions of people willing to be your support system because they absolutely adore you. Don’t shut them out. Open up and your vocals will too. Laugh, cry, whatever – you’re human.  Hope you can get out there and get some stuff figured out. Sincerely, TBBF.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: So, here we are. I can honestly say I didn’t think you’d be the one voted off after Tuesday night. What do you think happened?
DIDI BENAMI: I don’t know. America voted. [Laughs] I know that I gave it my all during every performance. I will say that. I won’t say that Tuesday was my best performance, and I definitely wanted to come back with Beatles week, but it’s okay. This is a great platform for me, and I get to go on tour and do a record – which, eventually, it’s going to happen. I’m excited about all these things. And I get a little bit of time in between to rest, which is really nice. That’s what I was counting on, ”Well, at least I can just sleep at some point.” It’s been a really amazing experience, and I’m content. I would have liked to make it further, but, you know, life happens.
