Lee Dewyze: His Untold Tragedy About His Guardian Angel!

Wow, how heartbreaking. Now I know why he’s so solemn all the time. Chin up Lee! You can do it, baby!

Star Magazine initially broke Lee’s horrible story this week. Turns out Lee’s grandmother, Eileen (80), was murdered five and a half years ago, by her own son – Lee’s uncle.

On October 27, 2004, Eileen was killed by her son who was in the midst of a mental breakdown. According to the The Daily Herald, Lee’s uncle John was having “some kind of breakdown” outside the grandmothers home and law enforcement was called.  While police was attempting to call him down, John grabbed a knife, lunged at an officer and turned the knife on his mother. Sadly, Eileen died a short time later.

A judge ruled John Dewyze not guilty by reason of insanity for Eileen’s murder in October 2006.  In April 2007, however, John DeWyze was sentenced to a mental health center for up to 60 years for the murder of Eileen Dewyze.

Fallen Idol: Interview with Lacey Brown

The first casuality on the big stage! Oddly enough, this was the lowest rated Top 12 kick-off in history. It was only down 5% though. For more ratings scoop, click here.  Onto Lacey’s interview!

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLYSo tell me, how are you holding up after last night’s elimination?
LACEY BROWN: You know, I didn’t get a lot of sleep. I got about 15 minutes. But I didn’t do anything too strenuous. It’s not like we went out partying or anything like that. I’m not a party girl. We pretty much just went back to our place and hung out with the contestants and laughed a lot and we joked around and played some pool, stuff like that. [We] just had some fun last night, and [I'm] glad I stayed because I’m definitely going to miss them, so I wanted to spend some time with them before I left. But I’ve lost a lot of sleep before — this isn’t the first time. So I’ll probably get over it because it’s really exciting to be [doing] all the interviews and shows and stuff coming up.

The Apprentice Is Returning To NBC!

This is amazing news! I think they realize that people are growing tired of the Celebrity version despite them being able to get high profile celebrities (unlike most “celebrity” reality shows). Smart move. Hope it pays off. Article from RealityBlurred!

The non-celebrity Apprentice will return to NBC for a seventh season, the network just announced. Just under a year ago, NBC posted and removed a casting notice for the regular edition, which hasn’t aired in three years. There’s not been official word about the return date, but it will probably air in the fall.

The network’s press release says the show will attach itself to the recession, as “the boardroom will be open again for candidates who have been affected by the decline in the job market” and that “Trump will give the opportunity of their careers to 14 new candidates ranging in age — all of whom have been hit hard by the current economic downturn.”

However, it also says that candidates may be “talented and bright prospects who have lost their jobs with no hope in sight, people who are currently holding down jobs they don’t like just to make ends meet and recent college graduates who currently have few if any prospects.”

In other words: anybody.

Open casting calls have not yet been announced, but the show is casting via castingnbcapprentice@gmail.com, and wants “information regarding how the recession has impacted their lives” in addition to “a recent photo as well as name, location and occupation history.”

EW Talks To Tom about Survivor!

I love Tom. That’s all I can really say. Head to EW to see a deleted scene of Rob killing a shark!

How does it feel to be deemed less valuable than a dude who can’t walk?
You know what? I think if James had gotten his head cut off in that challenge they would have brought his head along in a bowling bag and had him vote against me. And that was frustrating actually having to defend myself that I was more of a physical value to the team than the guy who had been sent back into the game wearing a brace.

Did you think J.T. was with you on the vote, or were you skeptical?
It didn’t take us long to realize that J.T. was like, “which way is the wind blowing today?” I knew I had to get Rupert over, too, and I tried to appeal to him flat-out, “Is this really okay with you? Do you realize how you’re going to be portrayed? You’re just getting walked around this game by Amanda Kimmel! Is that okay with you?” And I needed him to make the move, which I think would have redeemed him in a lot of people’s eyes. You know, America loved that guy, and I think he let himself down big this time.

Jeff’s Survivor Blog: Episode 5

Gooood afternoon everyone! Another funny blog by Jeff. He blabs about Russell, the reward, the idol, James returning and a whole lot more. Remember to head to EW to see a deleted scene!

Let’s call this one THE DUMBEST DECISION YET.

But before we get to Survivor… for all of those concerned, my cushions… are dry.  Hallelujah.  Such a big relief. You really don’t know how good you have it until you undergo a major crisis such as wet outdoor patio cushions.  I didn’t even share that when I called Pottery Barn – I mean when my assistant, actually my free intern, called Pottery Barn – they said those cushions were not being made anymore.  Say what?!!

I truly thought for a moment, “What am I gonna do?”  But then like a gift from the Universe, the sun came out.  That beautiful ball of heat, the most important part of our incredible solar system revealed itself to Southern California and those cushions… that were once so wet…miraculously dried.  I still marvel at the power of nature.

Okay onto Survivor…and THE DUMBEST DECISION YET.

RUSSELL:  “HERE IT GOES AGAIN”

Admit it.  Go on, admit it!  You smiled when he found it.
