Day Nine Task: Last Legs
The house mates woke up this morning to find their posh house transformed into an old folks home (lol). Big Brother has told them that for the next two days, Housemates will be ‘residents’ and ‘carers’ at Last Legs – a nursing home for retired celebrities. During this time, the Residents will take part in 3 challenges and the Carers will take part in 1 challenge.
Additional Information Below
All but two are Residents of this home, with Ivana and Stephanie, who are already over the UK retirement age for women, becoming the carers for the home. If the group gets 3 our of 4 tasks completed, they will win a premium food budget and individual luxury treats, otherwise, they get basic groceries.
This morning the ‘Residents’ were commanded to their seats to take part in a session of “armchair aerobics” instructed by Mr Motivator.
For their first challenge Residents played Channel 4’s Countdown. The Carers had 3 minutes to decide which five Residents will take part in the challenge and play as one team. They chose Heidi, Dane, Vinnie, Alex and Stephen. Did they pass the task? Find out tomorrow!
The residents and Carer’s are under strict rules – view them below!
RESIDENT RULES
- Residents should wear their full costumes (excluding coats) apart from when in the shower or sleeping in bed at night.
- Residents are not permitted to prepare food and drink for the duration of the task.
- Residents are only permitted to consume liquidised or soft food.
- Whenever a Resident visits the Diary Room, regardless of whether they have been summoned by Big Brother or choose to visit of their own accord, they must be accompanied to the door by a Carer.
- Residents must be tucked into bed by a Carer when they go to bed for the night. If both Carers are sleeping then they must wake one up to tuck them in.
CARER’S CHALLENGE
Carers should run Last Legs and look after the Residents with the due care and attention an elderly celebrity deserves, so if the Carers incur 3 or more fails, they will fail their challenge.
DIARY ROOM
Minimum of one Carer must accompany a Resident to the Diary Room door whenever they visit the Diary Room, regardless of whether they have been summoned by Big Brother or choose to visit of their own accord.
FOOD
- Only Carers are permitted to prepare food and drink for the Residents for the duration of the task.
- Only Carers are permitted to consume un-liquidised food.
- Big Brother has provided 5 trays; therefore food should be served in 2 shifts.
- Carers must ensure that all food served to Residents is of a smooth consistency and serve it on the trays provided. Solid foods must be liquidised using the liquidisers provided.
BEDTIME
Carers must tuck each Resident into bed when they go to bed for the night. If this means Carers getting up from their own bed to do so, so be it.
